Our Research Programs

Why Participate in Research?

Our research programs are revolutionizing the world’s understanding of brain trauma. Our CAMH and Canadian Concussion Centre research teams work in concert with Boston University and our Global Brain Bank sites in Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom to ensure the science for imaging CTE in vivo is advancing efficiently and cohesively.

Canadian Concussion Centre

CLF Canada is also proud to collaborate with the Canadian Concussion Centre to advance CTE research in Canada via two specific programs: a clinical program and an autopsy program. This collaboration is led by Dr. Carmela Tartaglia and Dr. Gabor Kovacs.

CAMH Research Team

We have assembled a research team at CAMH with exceptional expertise in molecular imaging of neurodegeneration and TBI. Dr. Neil Vasdev at the CAMH Brain Health Imaging Centre leads our collaborative efforts.

Click here for more information about Dr. Vasdev’s work at the CAMH Brain Health Imaging Centre.
